First, Happy Mother's Day to all of you Mama's out there... cheers to you and all that you do! I am blessed to have so many women around me to look up to including my own Mom, my Grandmothers, my Mother-in-Law, and a handful of really good friends that are super moms (especially the single Moms who took on the role of Dad too, you are all saints, seriously!)
I put together a short list of Mother's Day gifts that I would either like to give or receive - and not just for Mother's Day, any day of the year is a good day to buy your Mom a gift to show your love and gratitude!
1. Le Mer "The Introductory Collection"
I am dying for a new skin care routine since I'm approaching my mid-30's and I know this is something my Mom wouldn't purchase for herself but would definitely use. This introductory kit is perfect for someone looking to try a more expensive brand of facial cleanser and moisturizing products (and since Nordstrom is known for their stellar return policy, it's basically risk free!) You can find the collection here.
2. Cupcake Vineyards "Red Velvet"
This wine is super inexpensive but super delicious which makes for the perfect quick gift to bring to brunch or dinner. Pair with a bouquet of tightly bunched white roses and any Mom will feel the love! You can find this brand in most liquor stores.
3. "Mama" Necklace
My daughter still calls me Mama and I think it is the sweetest thing. This handmade necklace can be purchased on Etsy for under $30. If you are willing to shell out a pretty penny, you can get the real gold version made by Jennifer Myer here.
4. Pajama Set by GapBody
I believe that an awesome set of comfortable pajamas are a great gift for any occasion, especially us busy Moms who at the end of the day need a something really comfortable to unwind in. This set from GapBody is so soft and appropriate for any age! You can find the set here.
5. Ariana Planter from Joss & Main
Gifting flowers for Mother's Day is the norm but you can elaborate on that by gifting with a decorative planter! You can add a giant bouquet of fresh flowers or plant a small hydrangea bush. Either way, after the flowers wilt, Mom will still have something beautiful to keep. You can find this planter here.
6. Home Baked by Yvette Van Boven from Anthropologie
This is a great choice for the foodies! It is a cookbook for sweet and savory dishes that you can gift alone or with a new kitchen tool or utensils. This isn't something that I would buy for myself but would love if some gifted me. Plus I'm sure Mom would cook up something sweet next time you stop by! You can purchase a copy here.
