The life and times of a wife, stay-at-home mom, and vivid dreamer!

Brittany Bradley

I started this website when I was around 7 months pregnant with baby number 2 (number 1 was only 16 months old) and we were weeks away from closing on a new house. Not only was my husband working 24/7 but I was also in the middle of sleep training my little girl and we were quickly approaching the busy holiday season. Moral of the story - it was bad timing! I couldn't really put the time and effort into as I desired so I decided to start fresh in a months once we were settled in our new house with our new baby!

A couple things that have happened since last October...

We closed on our house the day before Thanksgiving on November 25th and to avoid paying another full month's rent on our apartment we decided to move in right away. Things were a MESS and terribly disorganized but we were on a tight timeframe with a new baby on the way! We managed to be in the house for one whole week before our girl arrived! We managed to make the space livable and even decorate for Christmas in those few short days so our first couple weeks in our new home turned out to be really special! I will be sharing plenty of posts as we renovate, furnish and decorate so stay tuned.

Next, and most important, we welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Elle Rose on December 18th! She is now 4 months old and the sweetest little baby there ever was. Charlotte is so in love with her like the rest of us which is a huge relief.  I would be lying if I said it is easy having 2 under 2 but despite the lack of sleep and the everyday stresses of having 2 babies, it has been so fun and such a blessing. The story of her birth and how the past 4 months have gone will be shared shortly.

So, we came into the new year with a new baby, a new house, and a whole new perspective! My husband and I do not really believe in resolutions but this year we have decided to take it a little slower and focus on what we have in front of us - our 2 daughters, our home, our businesses and careers.

xx, Britt
